Now launched and in full toothbrush-championing mode, the 2min2x campaign is spreading the word about children’s oral health. A campaign put together by the combined efforts of the Dental Trade Alliance, The Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives and the Ad Council, the campaign pushes to lower the number (16.5 million) of children  who suffer from untreated tooth decay through simple, low cost, preventative strategies.

So what are they doing? We welcome you to take a look!

At 2min2x.org, families can find ways to encourage kids to brush their teeth for two minutes, twice a day. Available materials include videos, songs and information to demonstrate just how important taking care of your teeth is and how fun it can be.

But it isn’t just for families; there are great resources for dental professionals as well. At 2min2x.adcouncil.org, dental professionals can help promote the campaign themselves with customizable materials. You can share their PSAs on your personal or practice social network pages or print out materials for around your clinic. Campaign logos are available for download as well as ways to engage the 2min2x campaign within your community.

Because children’s health is a collective issue and only together can it be solved.
