If you’re a dentist or oral health professional, work for a phenomenal company like Patterson Dental, or if you’re simply interested in what’s going on in today’s world of oral health, you may already have plans to attend the Chicago Dental Society’s 147th
Midwinter Meeting
.

But did you know that one of the greatest events for networking, learning from others and supporting your profession starts the night before the doors open at McCormick Place?

That’s right – by now, if you haven’t already heard of Oral Health America’s Gala and Benefit, known to some as the “dental prom,” you’ve been missing out. After all, we’ve been throwing this party every February for the last 21 years.

When you attend OHA’s 22nd Annual Gala and Benefit on February 22, 2012 at Chicago’s stunning Navy Pier Grand Ballroom, you’re in for a treat. Not only will you be mingling with your fellow practitioners and business leaders in oral health at our luxurious black-tie event (complete with an open-bar cocktail reception and formal dinner), more importantly, you’ll be boosting the outreach and strength of OHA’s programs that change lives by connecting communities with resources to improve oral and overall health.

At the 2011 Gala and Benefit, OHA raised nearly $500,000 – a new record – to benefit the oral health of children, older adults and everyone in between. The Gala and Benefit is our largest single fundraising event of the year, and just by attending, bidding on auction items, purchasing a raffle ticket or making a cash donation at the event, you’re impacting the oral health of vulnerable Americans in every corner of the country.

If you’ll be in Chicago for the Midwinter Meeting and you don’t have tickets to the Gala, what are you waiting for? At a capacity of 900 guests, the event is almost sold out, but we still have a few tickets left. Visit OHA’s Gala page to purchase your tickets.

Some of you are thinking, “The Gala sounds great and all, but what about those of us who won’t be in Chicago on February 22?” Turns out you can still help us bring healthy mouths to life and participate in this year’s raffle drawing for a brand new Vespa Italian scooter! Want to purchase a raffle ticket to support OHA and have your chance at the Vespa? Click here to make it happen.

We can’t wait for what’s in store!
