Dollar amounts continue to come into the Corporate Office from our branches throughout the country. We’ve seen some really great numbers, and once again, the ideas have been both creative and fun. If you’re going to raise some money, you might as well have some fun doing it.
We had car washes, raffles, chicken dinners, bowl-a-thons, Wii bowling tournaments, a tea reception, golf events, running events and bake sales, just to name a few. Our Valencia branch held a tea reception that raised more than $25,000. Our Patterson Office Supplies facility raised $11,500 and more than doubled what they raised last year. The Corporate Office doubled what they donated last year by raising $7,400. On top of that, our Grins for a Good Cause magazine raised over $63,000 on its own.
Needless to say we’re very excited, and we’ll be sure to get the final dollar amount announced as soon as the rest of the numbers are in.
