Wow, another year coming to an end. Where does the time go? The end of the year seems to be such a hectic time of year for everyone with holiday parties and wonderful time spent with family and friends. With the hustle and bustle upon us, I want to take a moment to remind you to prepare your practice for the end of the year.
If you are using Eaglesoft Version 15 or higher, you will find end-of-year documents installed to your computer’s hard drive. To access this info, go to Start|Programs|Eaglesoft|End-of-Year Documentation. You will find two files located within the folder. The file entitled EOY FAQ contains our most frequently asked questions regarding the End-of-Year processing. The other, entitled EOY Instructions, will give you step-by-step instructions on how to process your End-of-Year in Eaglesoft. Simply double-click the file you wish to view or print. If you are unable to access the End-Of-Year documentation or if you are on an older version of Eaglesoft, you may print the information online through FAQ using answer ID 12437.
Please be sure to read all documentation and make your daily, monthly and yearly backups prior to processing the End-of-Year in Eaglesoft. We suggest all backups be stored in a safe place away from the office. If your fiscal year does not end in December, please refer to this information later.
