I’m looking forward to the upcoming American Dental Association annual conference in San Francisco October 18-20, 2012. There is little doubt that this year’s ADA will be one to remember due to the launch of several groundbreaking technologies by our exclusive partner, Sirona Dental Systems.

The new CEREC AC with Omnicam is the most exciting new technology in dentistry today. After the historic launch of this product in August at the CEREC 27 and a half celebration in Las Vegas, the reverberations are still being felt throughout the dental industry.

The new CEREC Omnicam is a revolutionary acquisition camera, which captures highly detailed intraoral data in full color. Omnicam offers many new features and benefits:

  • Color Streaming – photorealistic 2D and 3D clinical images are displayed in full color
  • A small, ergonomic camera tip ensures access to hard-to-reach areas and increased patient comfort
  • Powder-free imaging – powder and opaquing agents are not needed

Check out this link for highlights of the CEREC Omnicam and CEREC 27 and a half. http://omnicam.clubcerec.com/

Also on display will be the new Schick 33 sensor. This sensor is the highest resolution sensor on the market today – giving you the best image possible! Combine that with the image preference presets and image enhancer and you will have a diagnostic tool that is perfect for your practice. You can learn more at http://www.schickbysirona.com/

I’m excited to see you at this year’s ADA where the CEREC Omnicam and Schick 33 sensor will be on full display at the Patterson Dental and Sirona booth locations.

Please stop by the Patterson booth #716. We look forward to seeing you in San Francisco!
