Compliance in the Technology Age

The Information Age began in earnest over twenty years ago and there’s no doubt about it – the world continues to change at breakneck speed. Dentistry has changed too, and with all the technology in place that impacts our daily lives both clinically and administratively, the rules of the game have changed … and are continuing to change.

Along with all the incredible technical advances, the speed at which we can do business and the ease in which we communicate with patients, referring doctors, pharmacies, insurance companies and suppliers comes a myriad of new laws and legislation. Along with these new laws come government regulators, business audits and a significantly higher obligation for dentists, as business owners, to stay on top of these laws as they change, or else risk dire financial and personal consequences. Make no mistake about it, your ability to practice dentistry can be impacted and curtailed.

Patterson Dental recognizes and appreciates that compliance represents a major challenge and that your success demands your focus be firmly on the balance of the practice and the business of dentistry. You simply don’t have the time or the manpower to keep pace with all the changes in compliance on your own, and for that reason we have created the Patterson Compliance Alliance. We’ve brought together three of the top industry experts for one day to present on six areas of compliance that are mission critical for your practice.

Join us on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Patterson Dental in Champaign, Ill., and take control of your practice compliance. Doctors, bring your spouse and/or office manager and take advantage of the concurrent sessions. You and your management team can take in all six courses or come yourself and get up to speed on your top two concerns while making connections with the experts who can direct and support your efforts to stay in compliance.
