Over the last several months, I have been elated to see more and more dental practices starting to participate in social media. Many of their websites have even started to reflect this by adding social icons that link out to their various accounts. However, very few dental practice websites make it easy to “share” their site across social networks. By adding tweet, like, +1 or other social sharing tools on your practice’s website, you can actually extend the reach of your social media efforts. This gives your patients the ability to like your website, tweet about an amazing experience they had, +1 your dental assistant’s biography and ultimately drive traffic to your website.
