If you’re like most dental practices (or any business) using Facebook, you’re likely always looking for fresh ideas to better engage with your fans.

Here’s one that’s super simple, yet nearly always gets some great responses. Change your cover photo once in a while! Yesterday, when one of our clients did so, they got some great comments and Likes on their page:

You’ll notice that the interactions often quickly move away from comments about a “nice photo” to conversations about your practice – stories that spread.

If you’re still sitting on the fence, debating the value and ROI of social media marketing for your dental practice, I have a couple of questions for you: “What’s the value of stronger relationships with your patients?” and “What’s the value of these kinds of simple conversations in terms of patient retention and loyalty, new patient acquisition, and increased top-of-mind awareness and referrals?” Your thoughts?
