“Like us on Facebook.” “Follow us on Twitter.”

As more and more dental offices start integrating social media into their practices, these phrases are being incorporated into almost every other marketing collateral a practice creates. That is a good thing. If you are taking the time to engage with your patients through social media, you should let them know where they can connect with you.

However, as simple as this idea might sound, there can be confusion as to which social icons you should be utilizing with this type of messaging. If you use a search engine to search for social icons, you will likely find multiple options to choose from. However, be aware that not all of these icons meet the brand guidelines of each social platform.

Here are the direct links you need to obtain and check to make sure your office is using the correct social icons in your marketing:

Facebook

Twitter

Pinterest

LinkedIn

YouTube!

Google+

It will only take a quick moment to click through each of the social platforms you use for your dental practice and make sure you are within branding standards set up by each of these sites.
