Although the grand opening of the distinguished 100,000-square-foot facility occurred just under a year ago in Effingham, Illinois, the Patterson Technology Center (PTC) has a rich history of supporting customers and providing innovative technology to the dental industry that dates back to the 1990s. The vision of the PTC goes far beyond technology sales; the primary purpose of the PTC is and always has been to provide dental professionals with the most cutting-edge, innovative technology in order to enhance patient experience and practice lifestyle.
Currently serving three distinct markets – Dental, Veterinary and Physical Therapy – the PTC has grown from 20 employees serving 1,000 customers fifteen years ago to over 400 employees serving 80,000 customers today. The advanced products that come from the PTC continue to be great, but it has been the people who work at the Patterson Technology Center that have been our differentiator.
As a thank you for the hard work of every employee at the PTC, this week employees enjoy a variety of fun and relaxing activities. Managers are providing them with a special breakfast, lunch and snack, a surprise gift mid-week and the opportunity to dress casually all week long.
Although we work together under the same roof, we still view our employees as customers and the events of this week are just a small way of saying, “thank you for all you do.”
